Pre-Nuptial Investigations

Pre-Nuptial Investigations

Background check with optional surveillance

It's a big decision. Canterbury Detectives can supply the information you need to make an informed choice and go ahead with intelligence, clarity and confidence.

Future Spouse

Committing yourself to somebody through marriage is an exciting step in life. You're not only committing yourself to that individual emotionally, but financially too. With UK marriage laws rapidly changing to reflect those of our American cousins, pre-nuptial assessments will soon be an integral part of the process of a pre-nuptial agreement.

When considering a pre-nuptial agreement, first ask yourself the question: "Do I really know this person?" Canterbury Detectives pre-nuptial assessment and in-depth investigation services will ensure that you know the whole truth about your future spouse.

Need Vehicle Tracking?

If your partner drives and you are unsure when the infidelity is taking place, Canterbury Detectives always recommend vehicle tracking. This allows us to build up a pattern of the subject’s movements without having to do hours of surveillance, which can become costly.

Canterbury Detectives recommend a minimum of 2 weeks of vehicle tracking so you can compare the first week against the second to see if there is a pattern of movement or visits to an unknown address.

Once we have a pattern of movement, you can discuss with your Case Manager the best time to do surveillance to get photographic evidence, should you need it.

Need Surveillance?

If your partner doesn't drive the best option available is surveillance. In the first instance, Canterbury Detectives always recommend at least 5 hours surveillance. This will allow us to monitor your partners movements and give us a good indication as to whether further investigation would be necessary. You can then discuss with your Case Manager if additional surveillance would be beneficial to you.

  • Starting location
  • Start time
  • Finish time
  • Description / photography of subject

If you are unsure when the surveillance should take place we recommend that you speak with one of our Case Managers to discuss the most cost-effective way forward.
